Speaking

What is IELTS Speaking?

The IELTS Speaking module is a face-to-face interview with an examiner that assesses your English language communication skills. It consists of three parts:

  1. Part 1: This part is a general conversation about familiar topics, such as your home, work, or studies.

  2. Part 2: In this part, you will be given a card with a topic and asked to talk about it for 2 minutes.

  3. Part 3: This part is a discussion of the topic from Part 2, where you will be asked follow-up questions to explore your ideas in more depth.
